Friday was fruitful

On Monday: We arrived in Wellington checked into the hotel unpacked took showers got internet set up in hotel walked around and ate lunch at a pub/restaurant with Belgium-inspired food (had lamb which was really good) had gloria jeans (flat-white!) and cookies for dessert took pictures went back to hotel posted blog for greg got internet setup in lobby (cheaper and faster) walked to cuba street...
Well, we made it none the worse for wear. The hotel is nice (very European feeling) and I’m showered and ready to find some food. Apparently it’s Labour Day here, so most of the shops are closed. We might also go hiking later in the day with some locals. I started a picassa photo page (because I didn’t want to pay $15 for a program to upload to Flickr from iPhoto), so enjoy! B
